this pic shows the way we wrapped the main beams, and the way the ceiling is finished in the kitchen area...cabinet installment should be complete this week...
the granite was measured yesterday, and will be installed next friday...
the skylights came out very nice...lined up perfect with the three casement windows...they let in a lot of light for the kitchen!...
the electricians came and installed all the trim kits for the recessed lights this week...
the old ceilings show there age compared to the new work...I don't know if paint or "pickling" could fix them...a re surface w/ the same wood we used in the kitchen would be nice...there are lots of scars and water damage marks from original construction etc...This will be a decision the owner will make in the very near future.
the window panels were delivered and installed yesterday ...we also matched up the stain pretty close on the floor patch...tomorrow we will add another color stain and glazing color to match up 100%...
the outside without any stain or finish...still need to put a piece of trim on the lower exterior...otherwise all is complete...
the stairway could be given a fix relatively easily...it has many rough edges and weak spots...we will be using a lumber similar to the finish in the kitchen to give them a great new look...
